At Smart Start, our love for all things pregnancy and birth-related started with Dr. Jenny and the birth of her daughter, and then the surprise birth of her twins. Her personal journey into motherhood was full of unexpected twists and turns.

Her knowledge, faith, and choice in the birth team, allowed her to feel fully supported in her birth plan choices and she felt unmedicalized and completely empowered. But not everyone has had that experience in the system that seems to have forgotten that women have been giving birth for centuries.
